Valutra can be used for free.
Some functions are limited in scope and projection range.
These rules are deliberately transparent and apply consistently
throughout the app.
Note: The public demo is read-only and is not limited by the free usage limits (it behaves like extended/PRO usage for viewing and calculations).
Maximum counts (free usage)
These limits restrict how many entries you can create.
- Projects: 1
- Contracts: 1
- Loans: 3
- Assets: 3
Ended or completed entries do not count.
Existing data remains visible even when a limit is reached.
Projection range (free usage)
These limits control how far into the future calculations are shown.
- Balance: up to 1 year
- Planning (loans, assets, retirement): up to 5 years
- Retirement date: at most 60 months in the future
Longer time ranges can still be displayed.
Edits are only possible once values are back within the free usage limits
or when extended usage is active.
Switching usage levels
You can switch usage levels at any time.
- Switching never deletes data.
- Existing calculations and views remain visible.
- Only write actions and extensions may be restricted when a limit is reached.
- Switching to a more restricted usage level never modifies stored data automatically.
